Alexandros Athanasoulis

Alexandros Athanasoulis, MSc

Alexandros is an organic chemist and a recently employed member of our project “ARIA”. He will employ his synthetic skills for the preparation of designed phosphinic-based ERAP1 inhibitors with peptidic C-terminal extensions that correspond to natural MHC-I antigens. The aim of this work is to employ these peptidomimetic inhibitors in an effort to stabilize and study a ternary ERAP1/inhibitor/MHC-I complex.
